Course Registrations and Student Representative Elections

Dear MIEPP Students,
First of all welcome (or welcome back if you are a higher semester student). It is great to have all of you here and (more or less) motivated to start the semester. I will try to make it as short as possible (I know, shocker!) so here we go:
As a lot of you have been asking me: indeed, the course registration period has been extended again to last until the exam registration period ends (Januray 28). Thus, you can register and deregister for courses to your hearts content. I am not quite sure why we even have the course registration periods any more at this point but here we are.
Secondly, there will be student representative elections on Wednesday October 31 at 11:20 in C02 (the chemistry building) during Prof. Schunks Core Module. While we are devastated to see these great student representatives go and while they will be a tough act to follow, please come by to either vote or candidate yourself. This program lives on its intimacy and cooperation between students and professors and the student representatives are a very import part of that. Long story short: Be a student representative or come by to vote.
As promised, a very short newsletter as to not divert your attention from all of the great content waiting for you this semester and as to not completely drive away the new students. Have a great rest of the week and a great/productive/interesting/bearable/satisfying (pick at least one) semester.
