MIEPP Succession

Dear MIEPP Students,
this is newsletter has been a long time in the making yet it is strange to write, nonetheless. Without beating around the bush, after a few great years as a student and several more in the administration I will leaving the JGU on January 31, 2022.
Therefore, we are currently looking for a successor managing the MIEPP. Generally speaking, this is a 50% job lending itself beautifully to pursuing a Ph.D. in the other 50% of your time, much like I did myself. I believe we would all prefer if another MIEPP student would take up the mantle of managing this program, being mindful of the specialties and nuances involved. I am sure many of you have lots of ideas on how to improve this program and how it could be better managed so this could be your shot at making a difference in the MIEPP while furthering your own education (as a side note, this job does not come with a guaranteed Ph.D. spot, that is something to be organized separately) Sadly, only German speakers can apply.
