Dear MIEPP students,

With this e-mail you receive a quick overview about some changes in the MIEPP module/course offer.

Changes in the module offer

In general, you can find the updated module offer in the MIEPP module handbook which is available in the Study Office’s Downlaod Center.

But let me highlight some changes for you:

As some of you may know, Prof. Kaufmann has left the university. Dr. Stefanie Brilon took over one of Prof. Kaufmann’s courses and is now teaching Economic Decision Making and Strategic Interaction (previously known as Advanced Microeconomics). The other courses of Prof. Kaufmann are currently not on offer. Maybe they will come back if the Microeconomics chair has been filled or there will be some other offers instead. I will share information on that as soon as possible.

Prof. Schank’s course Econometric Analysis of Cross-Section and Panel Data (summer term) is no longer available as a MIEPP elective. But there will be a new course Advanced Time Series Analysis by Dr. Weiser (summer term).

Dr. Kohl’s European Integration is not available in the winter term 2022/23 but will be available in the summer term 2023.

Prof. Hett is on research sabbatical in the winter term 2022/23. Therefore, Advanced Digital Economics is not offered this semester.

Office hours

Please note that my office hours will change from November on. I will be available Monday, 14:00-16:00 by phone only and Thursday, 10:00-12:00 in presence.

On Mon, 31.10.22 there will be no office hours.
