Dear MIEPP students,

I hope this e-mail finds you in good mood.

I take the liberty to provide you with some news on this summery day.

Updated module handbook

Starting with the dry stuff: The MIEPP module handbook received a make-over and is now available online in the download center of the Study Office (folder “Program information”). The Module Handbook now maps the current course offerings in MIEPP (which it essentially did before, but there were minor adjustments in one place or another).

You will probably notice that there are two subfolders available, one for students with start of studies up to the winter semester 2021/22 and one for students with start of studies in the summer semester 2022. Please make sure to check the folder which is relevant for you.

I also provided our first-semester students with their examination regulations (Prüfungsordnung) in English in their subfolder. A German version of the examination regulations is going to follow as soon as possible.

Jogustine quick-guide

This one is probably of most interest to new students. The university’s data center (ZDV) provides detailed information on the most common use cases in JOGU-StINe on their website. Should you ever experience troubles while using JOGU-StINe or you want to take another look how certain things are done, you may want to check out this website -> https://info.jogustine.en.uni-mainz.de/students/.

I also uploaded a quick guide to the Study Office’s download center (\ Master International Economics and Public Policy \ Forms and Announcements\ Jogustine). Here you can also find some FAQs.  

Event tip

Now, we can continue with the more pleasant topics.

I would like to point your attention to an event hosted by ECB officials on campus next week. At this event, you will learn how the application process at ECB works and what skills candidates should have.
