Dear MIEP Students
I hope you all had a great Christmas break and you are all well rested as the semester is starting to get serious (*cough*exams*cough*). This week I have for you:
- Exam registration
- Lecture series
- Job
As eluded to above, this semester is drawing to a close and of course that means exams. Exam registration started yesterday at 1pm. and will end on January 20, 1pm. and not a minute later!
If you would like to do me a favor, you will register for the exams so that I do not have you sitting in my office after that time being unable to participate in the exams. (Incidentally, you will also do yourself a favor with that)
The guidelines regarding illness (what to do when being sick during the exams) is also attached to this email already but I will try to send it again once exams actually start.
Secondly, the lecture series is taking place January 16 and 17. Please keep in mind that you have to sign all sign in sheets in order to receive credits.
Finally, the Otto Beisheim School of Management is searching for doctoral students: https://www.whu.edu/karriere/wima-ls-makrooekonomik/
It seems like this is it for this week and I leave you with a short and to the point newsletter, which is not usually how this goes. I hope you do not feel dissatisfied. If so, simply register for your exams and you will feel much better (almost a guarantee). Have a spectacular week.
Sincerely,
Christoph Wirp
