Smeinar Count and ECB Lecture

Dear MIEPP Students
As promised, the real newsletter for the week is finally here. I get that most of you are really busy studying for exams but please take the time to read the following.
First of all, I would like to talk to you about the seminars. As it is always a little hard for us to know how many of you are planning to take a seminar in the coming semester, it is thus hard to find a good amount of seminars to offer. To alleviate some of this issue, I would like all of you who are planning to take a seminar in the coming semester to send me an email, indicating that you would do so. This is not the seminar registration; this is to get an overview on how many seminar should be offered. Of course, if you do not send an email now, you will not be excluded from the seminars later, but it would benefit all of you who are planning to take a seminar that there are enough options available. So please:
Sent an email to MIEPP(at)uni-mainz.de and simply put seminar as the subject or into the email and I will count you.
The deadline to write the email is July 3rd, I will then talk to the professors on how many seminars we should offer.

Dear MIEPP students,
We are writing you in regards to our ECB tailored lecture. We are extremely glad to inform
you that the European Central Bank (ECB) will briefly present us some important aspects of the Bank, its monetary policy and other ECB-related developments in a tailored lecture. It will be in English and it will take place between 16:30 and 18:00 on the 05 July 2018. The location is Sonnemannstr. 20, 60314 Frankfurt.
For security checks (similar to those in airports), we will have to be at 15:45 in Frankfurt.
We would truly appreciate it if you could join us for the visit! Nevertheless, in order to be able
